Apple
Webkit first browser engine to score 100 on Acid 3

If you're all about standards
compliance on the web, meaning that no one company can control the
web through proprietary standards (here's looking at you Microsoft)
then you'll be glad to know that Webkit, the rendering engine
behind Apple's Safari, Konqueror on Linux and multiple mobile
web-browsers, has become the first
publicly available rendering engine to score 100/100 on the Acid 3
test. The test itself is designed to be a rigorous
test of all things in new web standards, from HTML 5 and Javascript
to SVG. Give the test a try and see how your browser
scores, then get a copy of the latest nightly build of
Webkit (need Safari
installed on Windows or Mac) and see how the web SHOULD look! You
may even want to see if you browser passes the Acid 2 and Acid 1 tests yet either!

The Best Web Browser On The Web...Now On Windows?

One of the things I love most about
using a Mac is being able to use Safari as a web browser. It's
fast, standards compliant, innovative, has RSS feeds, and is
beautiful. Well, the wonderful software gods over at Apple decided
to bless the Windows world with this wonderful masterpiece with the
recent release of a version that runs on both XP and Vista. But
don't trust me on it's merits, the numbers don't lie - as shown
below, on VeriTest's iBench results it's
twice as fast as Internet Explorer, and one can never ask for too
much speed! Check it out for free: http://www.apple.com/safari/
iPod Nano...100% drool worthy!

Many people dream of becoming
excessively powerful and rich in order to buy huge houses in
Monaco, or crazy car collections. My reasoning is somewhat geekier
- I just want to be able to have enough money to comfortably buy
each and every new product Apple releases. Take for example the
iPod
Nano - it's thinner than a bloody pencil and holds 1000 songs.
It's less than 2/3 the size od the iPod Mini which it replaces.
Definitely the must have item of the year - I WANT! I've also taken
the liberty of adding the TV ad for it to the files section of the
page.
